It's always fun to watch a subdivision go through the remodel stage, and that's exactly where Gleneagles Village is currently. Most of the Mission Viejo homes, built in the mid 80's to early 90's, are in need of some updating and basement finish. But, keep in mind, this contractor only remodeled the above grade square footage, the basement is still in its current unfinished condition. The fact that someone could come in and turn a home, only remodeling the above grade square footage, and get a sales price of over $500K on a Mission Viejo model, not backing to the golf course, is a true testimonial to the location and growing popularity of the Gleneagles Village area...and the folks on Abernathy Court are ecstatic!

It appears the new owners are doing a nice basement finish with a bedroom, bathroom and large family room area, prior to moving into their new home. Excellent idea.
